Augie's Pizza & Catering

How did I not know about this place?! The food is delicious. I went a couple weeks ago and Jane been back 4 times. I’ve had a Stromboli, chicken parm, pasta. Was so good and very reasonable prices. Love the sauce!

I would like to give a huge shout out to Augies owner and staff. They did a catering delivery for me today that was special and they went above and beyond with the experience! They provided a special dessert that was not on their menu and it was just perfect. I thank them for their hospitality and wonderful customer service. Highly recommend.

Always delicious. Quality is consistent from dining in to carryout to take out. Owner and staff are great. For anyone familiar with the former Romito's pizza in the Nordonia area through the 90's....this will take you back. As close as you can get.

My first time at Augie's was approximately 20 years ago. Had ribs and pizza and didn't enjoy my meal at all. Tonight, March 2023 was my first time back since then. When we walked in there was a sign saying wait to be seated, a woman behind the desk said someone will be right with us. After several uncomfortable minutes standing at the sign, we were told to pick either of the booths up front. Several minutes later a waitress came by and gave us menus but did not even take a drink order. Several minutes after that she told us that their "technology" wouldn't link our order to our table if we could move to a different booth..... (There's probably 10 tables with six tables already occupied and eating, how hard would it be to really know where the order goes?) But we move to another booth anyway. After being there for probably 12 to 15 minutes not getting any attention or a drink order taken, we decide to leave and try a competitor across the street. Maybe we'll try again in 2043.... UPDATE 3-29-23 The owner reached out and apologized for the fiasco earlier in the month. My wife and I decided to give it another shot, and we are very happy we did! The service and food excellent! We ordered a pizza and a half rack of ribs dinner. Everything was perfectly cooked and tasty. I'm kind of a cole slaw connoisseur, and the Cole slaw was excellent! We will definitely be back to try some of their other offerings. Check it out, it's worth it! Update 9-16-24 Excellent meal! Chicken Parmesan with Spaghetti, Salad with cheese, olives, hot pepper rings, bread and butter! Tons of food, tasted great. Give it a try!

This pizza is amazing! I moved out of Lakewood a few years ago and Angelo’s in Lakewood was the only pizza I loved- and I randomly tried Augies the other day (from a recommendation from a coworker of my husbands) and I think it was better than Angelo’s! I live in Brunswick but will gladly drive to royalton for Augies pizza. The sauce is delicious. I will no longer waste my money on sub par pizza now that I’ve had Augies! So happy to have found this place.

First time trying it and omg the sauce is the best sauce I’ve ever tried!!! Perfect thickness and literally the best cheese pizza we’ve ever had so far. Also, the stromboli was made to perfection! Will be ordering again and again !

Dang! Our first trip today 02/15/2024. Came in for a kids basketball game. Came upon this place. I was craving pizza. This place did NOT disappoint. The pizza was OUTSTANDING. My husband got lasagna, it was huge and admittedly some of the best we have ever had. Highly recommend! I hope we get a chance to go again. We are a bit over an hour away, but definitely worth an occasional drive!

This place starts with a warm welcome then the service is outta this world. The server was on top of her game going above and beyond. Then the food came out the portions were bigger than expected for the price. Pipping hot food. Then the owner comes to every table and asked how everything was. Great food, great people highly rated top notch. First time guests that will be returning for sure
